1. Thermal Stability Of Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resin

The outstanding advantage of aliphatic epoxy resin is its good thermal stability. Because the epoxy group of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin is directly connected to the alicyclic ring, the crosslinking density increases after curing, which provides a tight rigid structure, and the heat-resistant temperature of the cured product is high.


2. The Weather Resistance Of Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resin

Because of the benzene ring in the structure of common bisphenol A epoxy resin, poor weather resistance is a common defect of bisphenol A epoxy resin. In cycloaliphatic epoxy resin, the stable alicyclic structure replaces the benzene ring, and cycloaliphatic epoxy resin has good weather resistance and yellowing resistance.


3. Dielectric Properties Of Cycloaliphatic Epoxy Resin

The synthesis of cycloaliphatic epoxy resin does not use epichlorohydrin and does not contain by-products such as chloride ion and sodium ion, so cycloaliphatic epoxy resin has better dielectric properties than bisphenol A epoxy resin.

Cycloaliphatic epoxy resin has low viscosity, convenient pouring and potting operation, and good manufacturability. Cycloaliphatic epoxy resin can be used as an epoxy diluent. Because of its excellent heat-resistant stability, it can avoid the problem that the thermal deformation temperature of common diluent products decreases at high temperatures, resulting in the decrease of the heat-resistant temperature of cured products.
